Once a month Steuart Pincombe (or a special guest) presents a lecture, performance or master class specifically for members of the public, musicians and non-musicians alike. An inspiring, and intellectually invigorating musical education for local high school, collegiate, and adult students. In addition to weekly hour private lessons, we meet for studio class three times per month where we work through basic technique and also play our current repertoire for one another. Open to collegiate and adult baroque and modern string players (violin, viola, cello, bass, viola da gamaba). A privately tailored program that guides the student through a historically informed approach to preparing and presenting music by J.S. Bach. Students may participate in-person, or virtually.
